Dear Hayley
The rules:

Dear Hayley,
I am your future self writing to you, you are 13 years old and i am 25 now. You have just started High School. Ignore the kids that pick on you over your Cornish accent, you haven't lived in Liverpool long, but it will wear off and you will fit in.
That lad you meet called Phil in that nightclub when you are 15 (naughty girl) will be your future husband! You will meet him again at the same place in 2 years time, so in the meantime, don't let your next boyfriend make you cry, you will bump into your soulmate soon enough.
You will have highs and lows, but everything that happens, happens for a reason. You are still with Phil now (aged 25) you got married in Cancun, Mexico this year, it was incredible. You have many friends and go travelling. You have a great life and you are starting a new job. Have no regrets, have loads of laughs, keep smiling and making others laugh and smile, be there for others and be a shoulder to cry on. Just be you.

Wonderful letter. I wish this was one thing we could actually do. At 13, we're just finding out about the world and things are so out of focus and scary...good post. Thanks for sharing with me.

Dear Cocaine Princess,
This is me in the future sending you this letter. You are 13 years old now but writing this letter to you I am, well let's just say over 21.
Being 13 is such a memorable occasion as you become a teenager. You will find out more about who you really are and your wonderful mother will bestow you with the title of Cocaine Princess. You will find out what your best friend Valentina's daddy does for a living and for some reason you will not be shocked. At the age of 15 while on vacation with mom you will be discovered by a photographer and asked to be a fashion model. You will be very successful at it and will be traveling the world because of it. You will attend lavish parties and associate with people in the Drug Cartel and know all about their lives and record them in your diaries. You will travel in private jets, and yachts and be indulged by all the finer things in life. In your 20's you will decide to pursue a career in writing. You will use your diaries for story lines, which reminds me, please keep your diaries locked always in a safe place but if by any chance you misplace one of them near X-mas 2007, check the recycling bin. Your life will be filled with such luxuries and happiness but also sadness. After all it takes a little bit of rain and sunshine to create a rainbow. In 2005 I am sad to say mom will become quite ill and pass away within 6months. You will feel crushed by this but you will survive even though you may not think you will. 'He' will try everything and say everything to destroy your spirit but you will learn to ignore the negative comments because Valentina's daddy will be there emotionally supporting you and loving you and encouraging you. He and Valentina will become such a big part of your life. As you pursue your writing you will get frustrated trying to land an agent and there will be times when you want to give up but you don't because you are stubborn and passionate about fulfilling your dream of being a published writer. You will meet an older, powerful gentleman, know right away that he is a good person who will be like mentor/guardian angel- trust him. Speaking of men, you will meet a man at one of Valentina's party named Senor Bling- no matter how handsome he is, no matter how weak in the knees he may make you, no matter the sweet talk, listen to Valentina's daddy's warning about him, he WILL break your heart. A few weeks later you may think of taking him back but a trip to the Caribbean will change your mind. Most of all, please stay strong emotionally. Know that you are a Cocaine Princess, be proud always of who you are and live your dream because even though there may be times when you think the world is working against you, you will make it.

I just wanted to say that I promise to write my letter to myself really soon. A lot has happened to me over the past few years and I am finding it quite a challenge to write the letter... but I will. I think it is a wonderful meme, and has really generated some thought...
By the way, I think your letter was amazing. I am really glad that you and Phil are so happy (and I am glad the new jb is going well too!!!).
