Girls night out

I am in dire need of one. Phil went out with the lads last night and i was a little jealous, i haven't been out with the girls in a long time. It's not money issues or anything like that, it's just worked out that way. I have sort of lost the connection and contact with the girls i used to work with and i think if i just email or call out the blue it would seem a little weird. Also the girls that i used to go out with all the time, well we have all kind of drifted as well. How does that happen? Just getting along with life i suppose and not keeping in constant contact.

Men baffle me, they don't call or speak to each other for ages, like months, sometimes years and then out the blue they call meet up, get bladdered together, then don't call or speak to each other until next time! haha. Phil came in at 5.30am and he has been dead to the world all day!

I will have to call my best friend Jen and try and arrange a night out soon, see if she is up for it. I think the only night out we have planned this year is her hen night in September to the races. That's the thing with us girls, we like to plan ahead and plan nights out instead of doing it on the spur of the moment, but that's where it is hard again, her and Geoff live in Manchester and she works there as well so it's not like we can meet from work and do it, haha.

I miss getting ready, having that couple of hours to pamper yourself, bath, moisturise, preen and do your hair, then getting your glad rags and make up on! High heels and a glass of wine down your neck and then calling a taxi!

I think as you get older the nights out with the girls become less frequent and also when you are in a relationship as you don't feel the need to go out and meet guys.

I think i am going to make it my mission to go call the girls and arrange a night out on the tiles!!!
