Yes that is correct, Phil's project was the livingroom and his vision has been created, now it is my turn! haha. It's like battle of the decor! haha. I have always wanted to decorate it black and white and now we are. I wanted the black, white and a touch of silver patterned wallpaper on the chimney breast and the rest of the walls a white colour. The table will sit in the middle of the room and i also bought a chandelier! Now don't get me wrong, i am not the chandelier type, but the one i saw was gorgeous! See the picture i have inserted? Well it is the same as that only longer and has a double chandelier inside. The chandelier will sit perfect over the table and that will be the centre piece, i was going to get a big vase with black and white flowers but i think the chandelier will do the job. My dad popped to ours yesterday and laid all the rustic wood floor for us and is coming back to hang the chandelier. Me and Phil tried to peel the original wallpaper off the chimney breast and ended up pulling half the plaster off with it - eeeeek! So another job for pops, plastering the wall before we can paper the wall. I also saw a black and silver carved chest in Taskers that i think i will get to put in the diningroom, it has drawers we can put all our bits and pieces in out the way. We bought these oversized cups with black blown flowers on that would sit really nice on the chest. Lastly, i have picked 3 wedding photo's that i love, i am going to have them printed black and white and put them in individual frames and line them next to each other on white painted wall. On the window i have black voile that is wrapped around a black pole and then falls down on one side. We have blinds on the window, so we don't need curtains in that room. We have spent the whole weekend doing decorating and we were even up until midnight on a saturday night painting! haha. We were like "god how old are we doing this on a saturday night!" haha. But i didn't mind at all, i found it very therapuetic! Anyway, i will get pics once it is all done! That's why i haven't had chance to post lately.Monday, 21 April 2008

Sounds truly elegant Hayley.
Isn't funny how one day you are partying on a Saturday night and then all of a sudden you are decorating with your man? ha ha
