Yoga?

Yes, i went to Yoga. I have always had a curious fascination about it and i decided to go to see what all the hype was about.
Well...i thought it was good in the stretchy "getting my ass off the couch" type of way, but i am afraid that the meditation part was naff. Would i go again? Yes i would, but the whole "lay down with a blanket" and think about a yellow ball in my belly button wasn't my bag.
I tell you what, i think i woke up muscles that i never knew i had! I must have used them for the first time in like 10 years! Because believe me, i was aching this morning. I definitely felt that i used my stomach muscles, so i will carry on at home. The reason being is that i finally get round to going and it was the final class !! Apparently the sports centre are cancelling it because of funding! Typical! Anyway, i think i memorised the "plank, crocodile, cobra, dog positions".
I said to Phil that i would show him and he said no, in case i hurt myself! haha. Me being me, i probably would have! I think i will try Pilates next, that sounds good too. I tell you i will definately NOT be doing Kick Fit! My god that looked hard, best trying to ween myself into the gym first! haha.
I decided to start going to the sports centre because i went to one in Manchester with Jen, Geoff and Phil and it was like walking into a hotel, it was gorgeous. I went out the next week to a sports shop and bought loads of sports clothes, you name it, i bought it. Oh and a gorgeous black, chic, bowler Nike sports bag. It is gorgeous! A girl needs her accessories even when she is working out! hehe

Hello Haylz! I tried Yoga once and it was well harder than I thought! I'd love to keep going but don't have the time (or money) to do it and would never do it at home! If you think you'll do it at home you should invest in a DVD! I think there's places in town you can go and do it before work! I know it has lots of benefits!! Well done for going!!!

Hi Sweet Hayley,

You must give pilates a try. It's amazing! I myself do yoga and it's done wonders for me emotionally and physically.
