I have been a great little housewife this week. I have invested in a Bread Maker, it is an absolute godsend. Everyday this week i have been baking bread in my new toy and i am loving it.
Every morning i come down the stairs to the aroma of freshly baked bread. All i have to do is get it out the machine all nice and hot and let it cool. I run upstairs and get ready for work and by the time i come back down, the bread has cooled slightly. I cut the end off and spread fresh butter over the hot slice yummmy. Then i make my butty for work and take the rest in to be toasted with the girls for our breakfast.
Phil has been working away this week so hasn't had the pleasure of my new bread, but i am sure he will love it. He thinks it's just another one of my "phases" and that i will soon get bored, haha, but i really don't think i will. It saves money and you can't half taste the difference compared to a shop bought loaf.
I said to Phil that i can make fresh butties for him everyday, using fresh bread and i think he loves the idea.
I love it, it has a timer, so i just set that to go and leave it until morning. What more could a working gal need?

I used to work at ASDA (now basically walmart) in the brought in bread section which was right next to the in-store bakery!! I used to love the smell of fresh bread but after a while I hated it cos it reminded me of work! A strange side effect was that people used to sniff my hair a lot!! Ha! I'm over it now! Fresh bread rules! x
The smell of a bakery especially in the mornings is intoxicating. I love spreading orange marmalade or strawberry flavored jam on fresh baked bread. I hope one day Phil will make you some bread and bring it to you in bed!!!!
XOXO
I am like sooo domesticated haha
Isn't it worth it just for that wonderful aroma alone? I love the smell of fresh bread!
