The run up to the wedding!!!

Last Saturday was Geoff's stag do, all the lads (20 of them) went to Warrington to do GoKarting. Phil being Phil was already winding the lads up saying how he was going to win and he was really looking forward to it.

Well as you can see Phil came in close 2nd and now says he was "Robbed" haha.

He got a little trophy and everything, i think it's brilliant. It has it's pride of place in the dining room on the carved chest.

Later on all the lads then drove on to Leeds where they had a Hotel booked as they were going out. Phil said it was full of Stag nights and Hen nights.

The lads all decided to play a prank on poor Geoff and when he was good and drunk and in bed, they stole all his clothes, money (but left him a £1), took his phone and left him with nothing except a CLOWN SUIT! When he woke up the next morning, all he found was this clown suit, a £1 and tickets from Leeds to Manchester and from Manchester to Liverpool.

As they all drove off and left Geoff standing there in nothing but that suit he had to make his way home back to Liverpool.

Lads eh, how awful! haha Geoff laughed it off, he's good like that!

Well today i went into town on my lunch hour and decided to get a few bits for the holiday to Cyprus this weekend. I ended up being very girly and bought a french manicure set, sun cream and toiletries.

I also went to LaSenza to have a look at the underwear they have. Now anyone who knows me, knows i am not a size 8 or anything like that and can be very down on myself about my body, so i thought i would try and see if i could get a body stocking, to hold it all in for the bridesmaid dress. Well i tried a very unflattering, unsexy sock thing and OMG! I had to fight with it to try it on, i tried it over my head first and got my arms stuck. After nearly dislocating my shoulders, i managed to get it off "imagine having to do this drunk??" i thought. Then i tried it again, feet first this time, as i pulled it up i was absolutely hating it. It was like being swallowed up by a snake!! Now i know how sausages feel....When i had it in place, i tried walking and all i could manage was a shuffle. Oh Yeh i thought, imagine doing this on the wedding day, i will look like i had crapped myself!! haha

"Would you like to take this?" said the assistant...."erm i think i will think about it and come back another time".

I am thinking about it now and thinking that Cyprus will be really hot and do i really want to feel that restricted in the heat? I just don't want to look a big fat heffer in a bridesmaid dress, why can't we just let it all hang out? haha.

Tonight i got the manicure set and started painting my toenails in a french manicure style and it took sooo long. Why is this girly thing so much hard work!! I actually think i am stoned off the varnish fumes!! hehe But i think i done a really good job for my first time. I would have went to a salon to have it done, only the thought of someone touching my feet is unbearable!! So DIY it is.
