We are thinking about going to Canada this year on a trip to visit but also seriously considering emigrating there. From all the pictures that i have seen, it looks amazing.
I have been doing some research at home on the emigration process and it's going to be hard work. Their way of life is completely different, i am getting fed up of the same old same old here and i think it is time for a change. I want to have kids and have them grow up in a safer environment and not have to worry that my son will turn into a knife weilding hoody on a BMX or that my daughter will turn into a slapper just to be in a gang, because unfortunately the kids of our generation are slowly heading this way.
We have been watching Ice Truck Drivers and we think Phil would be perfect for the job, he is crazy and so are they! haha.
I want to look back on my life and be proud of the changes i made and the chances i took. I think this is an opportunity and i want to take it.

Hi Hayley,
We emigrated in 2003, to Canmore Alberta. The picture you have on your blog, I think is Moraine Lake an hours drive from our house.
Your reasons and motivations can very much be realised here. Although if you go to one of the major cities there are still gangs and crime.
You are right it takes perserverance and determination to get here, but your comment at the bottom reminded me so much I me before we came over. Research is the key, they've just changed the immigration proccess and if you check to CIC website there is loads of info about the proccess on there.
Good luck with it just think 2009 could be the year you really change yours and your families future.
Come to America!
MMMmmmm i could not leave here liverpool rocks man could you leave all your friends and family behind i couldnt. Plus gota say were ever you go there is gangs, hoddies ect. but there is some nice places in liverpool just gota look. anyway good look
Hi Hayley,
my blog is on here http://northernlass1.blogspot.com/ which gives some info on the immigration process. I've left you a message on your mymuchmor blog

I have to agree that there are still gangs in the larger cities in Canada, but on the whole the teenagers are polite and will have a conversation as opposed to just grunting when asked a question. As a parent of older boys this is quite refreshing!! I have to say though that if you like going to the pub often then you will be disappointed. There aren't the traditional pubs in Canada, however there are sports bars but not on every corner. I hope I haven't put you off, Canada is a wonderful country and we have no intention of returning to the UK. Good Luck
Follow you heart. Take that leap!!
XOXO,
CP
