After a nightmare journey into work today, i started resenting the fact that i have to work my notice this week, that is until...i found a FIVER!!! You probably think "big wow" but i NEVER find money - EVER!! so i was made up. There was no one around at all as i go to work at 6.30am so the streets were pretty much empty, so there was no one who could have returned the money to. So i picked it up and put it in my pocket! That should buy me a couple of celebratory drinks on friday! hehe. I spoke to Gem last night and she is loving her new job and i am really happy for her. She says the people are really friendly and that they welcomed her by buying her lunch and are holding a little "welcome" party for her on friday with the whole company. She seems to have really fell on her feet! I didn't realise how bad this place gets people down, looking round the office today made me sad, no one smiles in here anymore, no one jokes around or plays practical jokes on each other anymore! Myself and a few others used to be on the same team together a year or so ago, we used to play jokes on each other all the time, like inking each others phones with the ink pads, when the phone rang the unsuspecting victim would pick up the phone, place it on their ear and then walk around for the rest of the day with a big ink patch on their ear! It was sooo funny, that was until our old manager told us off and said that someone could be allergic to the ink!!! How pathetic!!! As if!!! If that is the case, then why issue the ink pads to us when we started? Everyone by then had been "inked" and non of us were allergic. As time has passed, we have all fell deeper and deeper into depression! ha I think that is why that woman (i mentioned her in my last post) is the way she is. I will nickname her "spinster" well, "spinster" continues to give me daggers and for the past week has been ignoring my "work emails". I have put read receipts on them and she hasn't even opened any of them. I guess she won't be contributing to my collection when i leave!!! haha. I don't see the point in being the way she is, i am leaving, what more does she want? The whole team is sitting here in silence all the time and it is sooooo boring and tiresome! Come on guys, liven up! Maybe it's annoying everyone seeing people leave all the time. I have been here 4 years too long, this is my time!!!Tuesday, 4 December 2007
