Shopping

Yesterday i had my driving lesson and i done my manoeuvres and my instructor said that i done better then he thought i would, as i haven't done them in a few weeks because when i have been having my lessons, it has been getting dark early. So in a week or so i am going to book my Driving test! The next hurdle in my life haha. I am quite confident about having my test, in fact i am determined, i refuse to be that person who struggles with their shopping, carrying about 10 really heavy bags. I want to be able to drive before i have kids, so that i can take them places, go shopping without the worry of carrying bags and buggie on a bus! I have been there and done that, i used to take my little sister with me shopping, and it is hard work, i don't know how other mothers manage to do it!
T
hen Phil and me decided to go to Chester to a butchers that he saw so that we could order a lamb leg for our Christmas dinner. Phil actually turned round and suprised me when he said "lets make a day of it" i was like "hell yeh!" i don't think he knew what he was letting himself in for! We went to the butchers and ended up going to Cheshire Oaks. I saw a gorgeous top from French Connection and Phil bought me it. I made sure that he bought a few bits himself, so he bought some jeans and trainers.
It felt very christmas'y and i think we spent about 4 hours there haha. We finally made our way home and the beef stew that i had in the slow cooker was just ready to eat, so we buttered some crusty rolls and sat down after a long day shopping. Afterwards we sat on the couch and watched some movies on Sky. All snuggled up on the couch it felt brilliant and for the first time this year i felt content with my life and where it was going, i actually felt relaxed (with my glass of wine! haha). Believe it or not, i am not a wino, even though i must actually sound like one ! haha. I just like the odd glass now and then.

I am quite confident that you will pass your driving test with flying colors. It's funny how you mention you were at French Connection because I was shopping there too this weekend. We in Canada have that store as well, at least I'm sure it's the same store, FCUK- French Connection United Kingdom. I bought a skirt and a sweater.

XOXOXOXO,

That sounds like a proper Christmas thing to do!! I don't think it really feels like Christmas yet! I'm not all "Bah-humbug" or anything like that! Nothing has been particularly festive just yet is all!!! Need a bit of Mariah Carey "All I want for Christmas" to put me in the holiday mood!

oooh a lamb leg - leg of lamb doesn't sound so graphic but a poor wee lambs leg!!!!!!!!

What did you get from FC then? It wasn't the gold and black top with the bow on the side was it?

You know Hayley, the more I read about you and Phil and how much you are enjoying being newlyweds, a part of me wants to tell you to not be too anxiuos about those babies yet. Kids add joy, this we know, but once you have them, its hard to find a moment with your husband alone. Enjoy it while you can!
