We had a meeting at 8.30am this morning with the MD's at The Holiday Inn Hotel in Liverpool. It was really nerve racking meeting them for the first time. The 3 of them were all there waiting for us when we got there and had ordered their breakfasts, so pretty much as soon as we got there we had our breakfast. I was really craving a big slap up full english, but i thought i better be a lady and i settled for an egg, 1 sausage, hash brown and a couple of button mushrooms! I tried and concentrated so hard at not splilling a drop on my shirt (notice i didn't opt for beans on my breakfast!!!).
Anyway it felt a little like an interview in a weird way, they were asking us questions and that. My main aim was to cut my breakfast into the smallest pieces that i could to make sure i could chew and swallow asap before they asked another question and to prevent having them all look at me while i chew and swallow before i can answer.
After about an hour, i started to settle in with them (and after about 10 cups of tea) i think the caffeine kicked in and i started gabbing away. After breakfast them came and checked out our office to see what it was like. They have never seen it because when i was hired, my boss was just setting it up here. They gave the seal of approval so i think my boss was pleased.
I can't wait to meet the other guys from the London office, putting names to faces kind of thing. They have invited us down, so hopefully we will be able to go down soon!!

I always have a fear of swallowing wrong and having the tea come out my nose in these situations.
And I've seen you eat Haylz!! Definately risky business! ;o)
Oi Cheeky Peter!! Anyway, talking of food, it's your turn for coffee club with cakes!! Hmmmmm!

I'm so glad everything went so well for you. Hope you celebrated afterwards with a 'huge English breakfast.' I haven't had that in ages- I'm getting hungry now.
