Flicks and Moving

On saturday i finally managed to drag Phil to take me to the Pictures to go an see "National Treasure - Book of Secrets" and i loved it. I loved the first one and i loved this one. Phil actually stayed awake to watch it as well which was a change. As soon as he is comfy he can fall asleep anywhere!, so add darkness to the equation and it's like he is in bed! haha.
I think Nicolas Cage is a brilliant actor! I loved him in Face/Off.
We had a nice day all round and got a nice takeaway and went home to relax for the night.
On sunday morning we were enjoying our rare lie in, when we got 2 calls..DAMN IT, why didn't we turn our phones off?
Anyway one call was from his brother (the one who's nose nearly got bitten off). Anyway, he called and asked if Phil had a spare hour to help him move a fridge and washing machine from his wife's house as she is moving. (they live in seperate houses but remain a couple). So we go down there expecting to only be an hour.....................6 hours later!!! We ended up moving the whole house with them.
I was starving and I was like a madwoman as the time was creeping up to 9pm because of course...LOST was on! I had been trying to get us home since 6pm, "come on, we'll have to make a move, i have washing to do", "i have to get electricity from the shop", any excuse to get home. I was going to kill the nearest person if i missed this episode.
We got in at 9.20pm! 20 mins into the episode and i had a face like thunder! Even after a brew and a piece of toast and marmalade that Phil made me. But then like a miracle...he noticed the RED BUTTON...it said "multistart" so we clicked it, then lo and behold, we could watch LOST from the beginning at a time to suit me! So i clicked on it to start at 9.45, ran upstairs, threw on my PJ's and snuggled on the couch with a relieved looking Phil! hehe.

Congratulations Hayley-Girl!!!

I'm that way too about TV shows. If I even miss two minutes of the starting of a particular show I go ballistic.
I love, love, love the pic of you and Phil on your wedding day- how beautiful. Where was it taken? I've always dreamed of a beach wedding. I love your dress too!

XOXOXOXO,
Cocaine Princess

Hayley you lead such an interesting life but you were in my thoughts last night! Can you remember when I was becoming a chopaholic and bought all that rubbish and you said that you had done that and ended up sleeping in the stuff - I thought no way - then what did I do last night - you guessed it!

You slept in them!? haha.

Why do we do it eh? God knows!

I loved the first National Treasure. I'm dying to watch the second one. Its orange wednesday tomorrow. Can't wait!

Disney are really coming up!

I don't really rate Nicolas cage much. I loved Con Air though.

Glad you made the cinema

Ever since you went on about liking "I am Legend" so much (though I'm sure that Will Smith had something to do with that) I just can't take your film reviews seriously! Ha! I'll wait till someone who knows a good film has seen it!:ob
I'm glad to hear it's your round at coffee club next week! I'm dreaming of almond and raspberry slices now so we might have to go to costas cos I've given up crisp, biscuits and chocolate for lent!! Shal we say Tuesday??

So shocked you had to say it twice! Ha! The main problem with your film review was that you said the film was good, ney, brilliant, when it was in fact poo!! It had so much potential to be better! So many story line avenues unexplored!! It was a Will Smith fest so I can understand why YOU liked it! ha!
